Meals

Whilst on board you are provided with breakfast, lunches and two evening meals. It is likely that the two remaining meals will be eaten ashore, which are not included in the course price. The booking form includes a section on dietary needs.

Clothing

Onboard you are supplied with bedding, a lifejacket, and a harness. You should bring with your own toiletries and towels. Although our boat has hot and cold running water, showering facilities are available at every stop. It is important to bring some warmer clothes. It can be quite fresh at any time of the year either whilst at sea or during forays ashore in the evening! We do have waterproofs you can use or feel free to bring your own, during the warmer months these need only be light weight.

New to Sailing? - some Do's and Don'ts

  • Black soled shoes and high heels are a definite "no no", so please be sure to bring with you either deck shoes or non-marking footwear.
  • Space is at a premium onboard so try and pack all your gear in a soft bag for easy stowage (i.e. no hard suitcases).
  • Enjoying the Sun. During both the summer and winter months the sun is quite a force to be reckoned with. A hat that provides shade, sunglasses and sun block are essentials.
  • Mal de Mer. We do carry sea sickness tablets onboard but it is advised to bring along your own tried and tested remedy.
  • Apres-Sail. After a great day sailing you may want to put your feet up and relax, so do bring along any books or C.D's you may have.
The rest is easy!!!!!!!!!
